So, I've been to my first comp (yay) and one of the events was one-handed. Now, I don't really practice the event that much, so I just kind of winged it and was happy to get a best time of 34 seconds.

I think this has got me invested in the event, so, rather than using the same cube for both regular 3x3 and OH, I'd rather have a looser, smaller cube for that. What are some of the best recommendations for a small 3x3 (like between 50mm and 54mm) in the current year?

Does anyone do the weekly cubers.io comps? How did you do this week?

Not the original maker of this image but it has helped me tremendously in learning new algorithms easily and bringing my time down. I used to solve it by cross, corner of cross, 2nd layer, 3rd layer cross, 3rd layer edge orientation, then finally the edges. Hope this helps new people learning the cube.

Hi everyone, welcome to our first weekly discussion thread. Do you have any PBs recently? Did you attend any comps? Any exciting new puzzles? Or just a general, what do you have planned for the week? Anything is welcome here!

PrimeCuber is a Rubik's cube solver built using a Lego Spike Prime kit. The mechanism to flip/hold the Rubik's cube is really slick, using a single motor and a 5-bar linkage. The link includes a video showing the mechanism in action, as well as build instructions and downloadable code.

I have an old cube. It only says "Dayan" in it. It is not horrible, but it is not great. I want something more recent.

It has to be budget, I don't want to spend too much just yet. Specially since I don't even know how to solve without having the algorithms in front of me haha.. I need to memorize them!

I was considering a Moyu RS3M Super. From a review I've seen on youtube, the standard/cheaper version was even prefered to the others.

Do you have any suggestions?
