There are certain apps that I want up to date always. Is there an app store client, or an app that automates this? play store only allows enabling auto updating for all apps.

Just wondering if anyone else has learned the Thumb-key keyboard well and could share their typing speed?

I have been using the TypeSplit layout for a few weeks now and get over 50-55 wpm with it consistently. I'm still learning it though so I'm expecting to see over 60 wpm soon.

Scrobbles from apps of your choice (including microphone scrobbling!) and allows you to browse your history. Works really well! For those like me getting back into scrobbling. Definitely worth a purchase

The Bromite project has been inactive for the last 9 months or so. Today I found this fork of Bromite that's well maintained and seems to work flawlessly. Hope it helps others who were looking for a replacement.

I'm looking for a google maps replacement as part of my de google process. One of my cars however uses android auto so I'm stuck there. Is there even an alternative that is open source, has traffic data and works in android auto?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a way to speed up the MS Rewards daily Bing searches.

On desktop, I have a folder of Bing searches in my bookmarks, and I can choose "open all in tabs" to load them all at once.

Does anyone know of an Android browser that offers that feature? None of them that I've tried so far (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, Samsung browser) can open multiple bookmarks at the same time.

It's hard to trawl through the app store. Are there any apps or games you'd recommend?

Using the Samsung News app on my tablet now and it's one endless clickbait article after another. Plus they inject ads onto the page too.

I know it might not be the apps fault if the source of the news is shit, but there doesn't seem to be a great way of culling all the terrible sources. I can remove them individually but wondering if there is a better option. Something that takes advantage of the larger screen that a tablet has over a phone would be especially welcome.

I have been looking all day for a FOSS keyboard that's under active development. It seems like more of not all of the ones I've seen recommended haven't been updated in over a year some three years. I don't mind if it's a long time between updates but I want to know bugs will be fixed eventually.

Is there any web browser which has ability to lock itself

Not in secret mode, just a normal app lock.

So I use my phone timer almost constantly throughout the day. I just use the stock Google clock which has for the most part has been more than sufficient. However, lately as in the last few months I've noticed I accidentally hit the stop button as it's going off in my pocket. Which causes me to miss my alarm. It'd solve all my problems if I could just set it so that I'd need to unlock my phone to turn it off, but as far as I can tell that isn't an option.

Team Luna

Luna is currently in its early stages, and your feedback holds immense potential to shape its future direction. This is the app that aims to have it all, plus a little extra.

In terms of features, Luna boasts an extensive range that stretches beyond basic posting and commenting. But that's not all โ€“ I've taken the liberty to incorporate many more based on the suggestions received during this process. Notably, the addition of various filters, such as keyword, site, read, and NSFW, has been significant. Plus, there's room for more โ€“ additional filters can easily be implemented upon request.

As for my own contributions, I've introduced various enhancements. Some, like the replacement of links (e.g., twitter->nitter), have been well-received successes. Others, such as direct site connection and search upon clicking, are in progress, while a few, like the option to copy post links, may border on extraneous clutter.

Admittedly, there's still plenty of polishing required, and the layout is a work in progress. Bugs, if encountered, will be swiftly dealt with. If you're up for exploring something that's a tad unpolished but brimming with potential, I invite you to join the beta. Let's collaborate in refining Luna โ€“ the Lemmyverse app that's delightfully extra

I'm using Ampere to see information about battery charging.

However, I'm not able to see the voltage or current charging mode (normal, QC or USB-PD fx) on my S20FE 5g.

Does such an app exist?

I'm looking for the best apps to map out and find routes along public footpaths and bridleways in the English countryside. Would also be great to be able to use the app offline in the likely event of not having cell reception. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I've been looking for a cannabis app. one that categorizes different strains according to their terpene profile. something that users/patients can filter by symptoms as well. (anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia, etc) anything like that out there? I'd make it myself, but I'm not skilled enough. thoughts?
