Highschool project of Cooper Goodwin aka gooseworx. Way too underrated and under discussed! Loved this when it was coming out.

Experience the raw power of nature as the strongest storm ever recorded hits Turkey, leaving the province of Zonguldak and the city of Istanbul in a state of shock. This video captures the devastating impact of the storm, from the destruction of buildings to the uprooting of trees, and the aftermath that has left residents grappling with power outages and significant disruption to daily life.

Witness how the coastal city of Zonguldak bore the brunt of the storm, with torn parts of buildings littering the streets and strong water flows sweeping parked cars off the roads. The storm also wreaked havoc in Istanbul, where winds of up to 150 km/h (93 mph) were recorded.

The video also highlights the broader climate issues Turkey is facing, from a prolonged drought linked to climate change and poor water management, to the unusual snowfall that hit the regions after the storm.

Join us on this journey as we explore the effects of this extreme weather event and its implications for Turkey's future. Don't forget to subscribe for more compelling content on climate change and its global impacts. Your engagement helps us spread awareness and drive meaningful conversations around these critical issues. Stay safe, stay informed, and thank you for your support.

In the town of Grindavík, Iceland, a significant geological event is unfolding. Magma has been detected advancing beneath the town, causing a series of intense earthquakes and leading to the evacuation of over 3,000 residents1. The magma intrusion, which is believed to be larger than those that led to eruptions in 2021, 2022, and 2023 at Fagradalsfjall to the east2, has formed a tunnel extending approximately 15 kilometers3. This has resulted in extensive damage to roads, buildings, and infrastructure in Grindavík3. As the situation continues to develop, experts warn that a volcanic eruption could occur within days or even hours1. Stay tuned for more updates on this unfolding geological event in Iceland.

Introducing Muscle Russell, urban explorer. As he always says:

Get off that couch and put away that soda, 'cause you never know what's in your backyard!

There are many a video to choose from, some deeper cuts than others, but here's a small selection that I personally find oddly soothing to watch:

From keaton999, originator of Sparta remix and a couple other old memes. This is just a weird video of his, but he has weirder, with even less views, despite the 'fame'.

This magazine was created as a point of exodus for /r/DeepIntoYouTube/. While I was not the Owner of the subreddit, I was the moderator behind our modbot, and the only active full permission mod.

I hope to keep this community similar to how it was on Reddit with minimal changes. The rules are mostly the same as before, with minor tweaks to the wording and the removal of some ancient internet references (Vimeo... wow).

I'm not sure how moderation will work here... if the other moderators reach out to me, I will add them. I and just now getting this off the ground, so I do not have a modbot to automatically moderate, and I'm not sure how much is possible. I'm still learning about kbin. I'm not looking for additional moderators at this time. I'm not even sure this will even be successful. Over the decade that /r/DeepIntoYouTube existed, it grew to over 3 million subscribers, but activity was always light. If I need additional mods, I will post another article asking for them.

For now, I will not be enforcing the rules heavily. I will allow conversation threads without YouTube links so long as they aren't offensive and everyone behaves.

Anyway, welcome tot he new DeepIntoYouTube!
