This was a very enjoyable listen. I spent a long time after reading Upgrade struggling to decide between this and Recursion. I think I made the right choice, as I am very excited (after a short break) to pick up Recursion.

I only found a couple of passages a tiny bit 'slimy' physics wise (the schrodinger's cat bit comes to mind, would struggle to recall what about it exactly), but they didn't impact my enjoyment of the story.

The narrative itself had me regularly thinking about the possibilities when I wasn't listening.

I enjoyed this. The Marcellus narration was top notch, likable superiority and arrogance. The human narrative was just twisty and turny enough to have me really feeling for the characters.

A very compelling story about the discovery of parallel earth's.

Note: I went into this knowing it is 'Not a Pratchett book' which I think is worth knowing before diving straight in.

How many books did you read? What are your thoughts? Did you find any new favorites? Were any of them particularly bad?
