Anybody remember the name of this stand up routine?
I haven't chatted with anyone that's played it for so many hours! Do you have any favorite discoveries/ quests / moments that stand out?
Super cute! Have any of them changed as they've aged? Like, gotten more cuddly or mellow?
I think one of the biggest determining factors for me will be the tone/vibe of the planet.
For example: music, aesthetic, local fauna, and things like that. If all those factors combine into a friendly/inviting/upbeat atmosphere then I'm a lot more likely to want to colonize it and spend a lot of time there.
But, I guess it's possible that most of the planets could feel pretty similar. In that case, I want to colonize a frosty planet, a swampy planet, a SUPER HOT planet, etc.
I feel like a lot of the people that enjoy open source software tend to be able to read code in some capacity. Downloading visual studio code and the dendron extension is probably pretty easy for those folks. It's open source, checks most of the same boxes, and doesn't charge extra if you want to use it for work. I think I even saw some documentation detailing how to migrate from obsidian to dendron.
That being said, it really does feel like Obsidian is one of the more user friendly and intuitive options I've found. Maybe their business model is part of the reason why it is so feature rich and stable?
I'm surprised nobody else took inspiration from the Roci. I always thought it was awesome!
