I wonder if they included all the additional channels costreaming it?

I think the language in his video is very important and different than "admitting defeat" with his beliefs. He just admits that he didn't believe the 24 hour sun in the southern hemisphere, and that specific belief was proven wrong. "So what does that mean? You are going to have to figure it out yourself." doesn't really sound like his belief of the flat earth was defeated.
The headline is a little distorted from reality. He has legal documents with a defined succession plan, but the key here is that he wanted to change it but was unable to due to the nature of the irrevocable trust it was originally put in. I guess that's not a clickbait-y headline.
Thanks for the detailed response! I thought it might be that supreme court decision but I wasn't sure if I missed some other skullduggery.
I'm just saying that it scares me that we are all being pushed to the extremes; that I'm worried about what that means for us as a society. I'm also just trying to point out that these kinds of comments could be used against you, especially with someone in charge that has talked about going after his enemies.
What do you mean by the presidential pardon thing that Trump invented?
EDIT: Also it really scares me how freely people discuss murder on Lemmy. Not just from a moral standpoint but also for you. I hope people consider the seriousness of these comments and that these comments can be used against you.
Just bought some. I like how big they are so you can see the art!
I struggle with this too, especially from hearing him speak. I think finding summaries and transcripts would be the way to go.
What is this article even about? It’s full of guesses and second hand stories with no clear objective.
Unless I am reading it wrong, the article mainly focuses on the fact he is denying the sexual assault allegation. From what I have seen, it was clear he had no management or command experience in the military. Was he on TV saying otherwise?
Could be both but could also be financial. I'm sure this has the potential to earn her a lot of money. This detention facility could be there for 10+ years as countries reject receiving these people. That on top of the legal battles that will inevitably slow everything down while people are detained. That's a lot of rent to be collected, on top of all the other exorbitant fees I imagine will be in the contract. All you have to do is be morally bankrupt.
Normally, yes the drug thing shouldn't be something we care about too much. But I'm pretty sure the drug use is a very valid thing to care about, especially with the allegation that he was giving drugs to minors, and this: "one woman told the committee the use of drugs at the parties and events they attended may have "impair[ed their] ability to really know what was going on or fully consent.""
