Middle East "crisis"? Isn't Assad being gone...a good thing?

I want to believe that peaceful organization like civil disobedience leads to change, but I can't recall seeing that work in recent history...

While I am too old to advocate for violence, this line hit me pretty hard:

"Violence never solved anything" is a statement uttered by cowards and predators."

Last I checked, the average rate of solved cases across the US was 50%. I wish I could only do my job half the time and get a huge salary, while remaining a safer job than a cab driver.
