The UK Conservative Government is in its “dying days”, Wales’ First Minister Mark Drakeford has said in a stinging attack on Rishi Sunak’s premiership. At the same time, Mr Drakeford said Mr Sunak was marginally better to deal with than his immediate predecessors, Boris Johnson and Liz Truss.

Asked about current relations between the Welsh Government and the UK Government, Mr Drakeford painted a picture of dealing with an incompetent administration on its last legs. Giving evidence to the Senedd’s Committee for the Scrutiny of the First Minister Mr Drakeford said it was not easy dealing with Westminster.

“It’s a mixed picture,” he told the committee, “Dealing with the current Prime Minister is easier in some ways than dealing with his immediate predecessors in that he observes the basic courtesies of intergovernmental relations."

he's probably right and it's not even sunaks fault. The entire party seems split to be a hateful blob of politics, that seems to be annoying just about everyone I know. Combine that with a bad economy and you're bound to lose an election. The only up side is oil is getting cheaper so inflation is down, how long that will last who knows...
