most of them are like 20% off though

Seriously. This post is just false advertising.

Yeah, Steam sales have been pretty disappointing for a long time now.

Where there's really deep discounts, it's something you've owned for years because you got it back when the sales were good.

There's still some good deals, but yeah most of the big popular stuff is like 50% off at max. Mass effect legendary is on sale for $12 and master chief collection for $10 though, those two are worthy if you don't have them.

Tbf there are still solid deals, just on the games people like you or I already have. Skyrim complete edition for $8? Doom 2016 for $4, eternal for $10? Borderlands 2 goty for $8? Those games all still hold up reasonably well, and I’m sure there’s dozens if not hundreds of other classics on sale for sub $10.

Patient gaming is incredibly budget friendly.

Yeah. Valve forces devs to put their games on sale but doesn't care by how much. It's incredibly rare to see 90%

[–] Johanno@feddit.de 4 points 1 year ago

90% is when you save a whole € on the game

just pirate, money shouldnt be the bar to enjoyment

[–] Thteven 15 points 1 year ago

I agree with the sentiment, but there is a time and place for me to pirate and games that are 90% off are not it.

If you can't afford it, sure. If you can, you should buy games.
