MODERATORS
I'm on sciences.social, because I am a social scientist. There's a number for different sciences that are good for keeping up with your field. I don't know about other occupations but I assume they're out there. Also, as with all things federated, the server doesn't matter too much once you get rolling.
mastodon.social because I didn't want to spend time looking at a whole bunch of different servers and filter through them all. It's the biggest, so I just went on there.
Same. Furthermore, i liked the .social part haha.
Won't that just give worse performance, joining the most overloaded instance?
oldbytes.space which is good if you love retrocomputing, otherwise you'll be a bit lost on the local feed.
mastodon.world, clearly the best!
