I walked into Bethesda and they let me lead a team for their first truely handcrafted 3D world. And it was a great success. From there I took every idea that creative team had and took them apart piece by piece until there was nothing left but bland repetitive fetch quests and as little hand crafting as possible. Just like my leather jacket I made sure not to change into anything new for the last twenty years.

Pretty interesting.

You'd think when Fallout 4 was panned, and when Fallout 76 was panned that somebody in Bethesda might have said "hey maybe we need a new game director". And also "maybe we need a new game engine". Instead they went with the tried and trusted and shat out Starfield to the acclaim of nobody.
