I have been using MicroOS Aeon for a few months now. It is an excellent option and stable.
openSUSE
openSUSE is an open, free and secure operating system for PC, laptops, servers and ARM devices. Managing your emails, browsing the web, watching online streams, playing games, serving websites or doing office work never felt this empowering. And best part? It's not only backed by one of the leaders in open source industry, but also driven by lively community.
Gotta start somewhere!
Running Tumbleweed on my desktop, and it's working out pretty well. I did check out MicroOS Desktop (before it changed to Aeon) and it was pretty neat, but I got a few pieces of hardware that needs extra drivers, so decided to stick with Tumbleweed anyway.
I've been considering giving Aeon a spin myself once i grab a new SSD.
Getting us started! :)
Everything has to start somewhere.
Love openSUSE, glad to see it's here on Lemmy
We all started from 0. ;-)
Thanks for setting this up, hopefully it becomes a vibrant community.
Currently running Tumbleweed. Played around with MicroOS a bit, but I think immutable distro's in general need more time in the oven before I use any of them in production.
Reporting that I’ve been trying out Aeon and that it’s my daily driver now!
