Let's get this over with and hope this test flight goes more smoothly

Think it'll make it to stage sep? I bet if it does, it'll go all the way to reentry. After that... I don't have high hopes but I do hope for some juicy flamey footage!

I'm 95% sure it will make it to stage sep. I'm less certain that it will make it through stage sep, as SpaceX has not previously tested hot-staging. If it makes it past stage sep though, I think it should be a smooth ride to (almost) orbit. I have no idea about reentry, but I'm sure whatever happens will be exciting.

I know the first test flight was expected to splashdown in the Pacific, anyone know if that's the plan for the next flight as well?

Same for this one, then the next few ones will be without any heatshield or aero surfaces, to focus on everything up to re-entry, and probably test the limits of the ship with no heatshield, they might get better results than they expect (most definitely wouldn't make it in one piece tho).

Excitement guaranteed for those ships without heat hields

That's for sure!

Huzzah! One step closer to the next flight!
