I'm reading The Worst Journey in the World by Apsley Cherry-Garrard. Absolutely recommend, it paints a really good picture about the first Arctic explorations. It also gives you a great perspective on how comfortable and safe our lives are.

Currently listening to Crota by Owl Goingback. It's a monster book (so not great literature), but it's fast-paced and holding my interest.
Currently reading The Mountain in the Sea by Ray Nayler. Just started it, but enjoying it so far.
Just finished listening to Preparing for War: The Extremist History of White Christian Nationalism--and What Comes Next by Bradley Onishi. An eye-opening and frightening books that sheds light on why so many evangelicals are die-hard Trump supporters, in spite of the fact that he's the personification of the seven deadly sins.
Just finished reading Looking Glass Sound by Catriona Ward. Another twisty psychological thriller by a master of the genre. Not as good as Last House on Needless Street, but that's a hard act to follow.
Extinction Cycle by Nicholas Sansbury Smith. Military thriller with bioweapons. Listening on Libby and the narrator really does a good job. On book 6 sor far
Finished Uprooted by Naomi Novik and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cozy fairy tale type of story.
Started reading The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. Haven't gotten very far but I'm liking it a lot.
I want to read this sooo bad!! Ever since I read Spinning Silver, I've been eager to read more of her work. Have you read Spinning Silver? I'd be interested to know how it compares to Uprooted.
