Especially curious for people who didn’t grow up near a FBS school or you grew up near multiple.

Growing up in Colorado, CU and CSU mostly sucked but nonetheless I always had friends with no academic affiliation who were diehard friends. As a result I picked neither and became a fan of the sport in general but I wish I had a blue blood or better school I followed.
