🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴 Not dead yet

Big emphasis on yet. Our chances of qualifying is close to zero after Spains win. Would need to win our last remaining games against Spain and Scotland. Scotland also needs to lose against Georgia.

Italy would be in League A playoffs so, it would be beneficial For Norway if Ukraine qualifies ahead of Italy. That would pretty much guarantee Norway a spot in League B playoffs with easier teams to face than A.

Bosnia and Iceland being in the same group (and both of them 7 points behind 2nd) doesn't really help you then.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Wait they could qualify directly without a playoff through Nations League?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

If Scotland doesn't qualify directly then Norway is already qualified. It's not out of the question but Scotland can't win against Georgia for it to happen.

We often hold it well, until the inevitable collapse in the past 10 minutes

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

It's of course improbable, but hope is the thing with feathers.

Bosnia, Iceland, Ukraine, Finland and Israel. Two of these five teams need to qualify directly for you guys to have a spot in League B.

I dont know how it works with League A. So Norway could get in the League A playoffs due to nearly all of them qualifying? I have absolutely no idea but if anybody knows please step forward haha!

A Norway loss or draw against spain. Or Scotland need 1 or 2 points to qualify. And it's over

Doubt it, Norway are extremely weak mentally in decisive matches

I could see Norway get back into it only to shit their pants against Scotland away last match

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

So with the World Cup qualification more difficult than Euros, realistic Norway next chance is 2028? That loss to Serbia last year in the final match in the nations League looks fatal know with hindsight.

Nusa is such a dangerous player, comes on does a nutmeg with his 3rd touch, just brimming with skill and confidence.

Now watch everything go our way in the next round just for us to lose to Scotland in the decider

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Yes i saw it. Should have been 3-0. Also stupid to take out your star striker. I would say there is something wrong mentally with your team. They have fucked up too many times.

Lmao! Bigger chance Scotland will extend the lead against Norway and end up with 21 points and Norway in 10-11 points.

Georgia takes points from Scotland

Pretty sure they've gotta beat them

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Not if Norway wins on head to head against Scotland, so I guess either 2-0 or scoring at least 3

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

For what is worth, I think up until the 0-2 Cyprus played much better than usual and I might say that we were unlucky to concede with the manner we conceded. Only chances from Norway were from crosses up until that point, but after that we just couldn't cope with their quality. They were easily better and the score could have been even more.

0 points at this stage is a disgrace and some serious decisions need to be taken. Our players individually should be the best we ever had and they get to play regularly for their teams (some in top leagues in Europe), yet the past 2-3 years have been embarrassment after embarrassment. If they only want to play for the NT because they fulfill contractual targets and/or they are called up because of favours to their agents, there needs to be a complete revamp to how the system works. 0 points and tragic performances against sides such as Scotland and Norway who were always better than us but at least we looked at a close level when playing at home.

I don't know what needs to be done, but this NT is the worst I've ever seen and is on par with NTs like Malta and San Marino. The country's football is being disgraced even though our league is consistently in the top 20.
