Even though it's pretty subjective, I'm curious what other comedy podcasts out there are on the top of their game.

Currently I've been listening to Your Mom's House but I've heard from others that it's fallen a bit since it's earlier years.

I haven't caught up on most of these so I don't know if they stay as good but:

  • My Brother, My Brother And Me - 3 brothers giving not-so-serious advice to listeners, reacting to questions from Yahoo Answers (when that was a thing), and overall being funny/silly
  • My Dad Wrote A Porno - 3 people reacting to an "erotica" book series that one of the guys' dad published (I would say the books are maybe only 5%-20% explicit, depending on the chapter) (some of the characters' voices can be annoying/grating, and the narrator tends to repeat sentences after they react to them which can be annoying as well)
  • No Such Thing As A Fish - the behind-the-scenes staff of the show QI bring up interesting facts and tidbits from history/nature/etc. (each episode is split into 4 parts where each member brings up a fact and the others react to it and bring up related facts)
  • If I Were You - Jake & Amir from CollegeHumor giving advice to listeners (mostly in a sarcastic/tongue-in-cheek way but sometimes genuinely), mostly about relationships/dating
  • SmartLess - Jason Bateman and Will Arnett (Arrested Development) and Sean Hayes (Will & Grace) interview a famous person each episode where only one of the hosts known who it is beforehand (it gets better after the first few episodes, though some conversations are less funny/entertaining than others)
  • Office Ladies - Jenna and Angela from The Office (US) reacting to each episode of the show and bringing up behind-the-scenes stuff (some of episodes include interviews with other cast members/staff)
  • Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend - Conan interviews a famous person each episode (I like the interview part better than the introduction, and similarly to Smartless some conversations are less funny than others)

You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes: long deep dive interviews with people of interest

U talkin U2 2 Me?: I hate U2 and dislike Talking Heads but loved Scott Ackerman and Adam Scott breaking down their discography.

Bonanas for Bonanza: Hilarious improviser Andy Daly plays Dalton Wilcox, the poet laureate of the west and has Maria Bamford and Matt Gourley also playing characters who are rewatching the classic western tv show Bonanza. You again don’t have to care about the source material to enjoy this one.

How did this get made: my all time favorite podcast. Listened to every episode and traveled to see them live multiple times. Paul Scheer, Jason Mantzoukas and June Diane Raphael watch horrible movies and crack wise. Great guests and hilarious.

I don’t know about that: if you like Jim Jefferies you’ll love this show where he tries to show experts in fields he knows a bit about the topic

Monday Morning Podcast: if you like Bill Burr you owe it to yourself to at least listen to a shortcut of him doing Shaaaaaaarie’s Berriiies ads

Mike and Tom eat snacks: Tom Cavanaugh and Michael Ian Black eat and rate snacks.

Wtf with Marc Maron: one of the older podcasts, he gets great guests and is a unique interviewer.

Never not funny: another classic comedy podcast that’s been going for over a decade.

I’ll also vouch for Doug Loves Movies, great to see live as well!

  • Bad Friends (Bobby Lee & Andrew Santino)
  • Take your shoes off (Rick Glassman)
  • Tigerbelly (Bobby Lee & Khalyla Kuhn)
  • Conan O'Brien needs a friend
  • Scissor Bros (Jeremiah Watkins & Steebee Weebee)

And the occasional Your Mom's House or Two bears one cave.

Judge John Hodgman. John Hodgman, former "PC" guy in Apple ads, litigate submitted internet disputes with his bailiff, NPR radio host Jesse Thorne. It's funny, ridiculous, and often times heartfelt.

Not a comedy podcast necessarily, but I love "The Deep 3". It's an NBA podcast but the guys are hilarious, absolutely hysterical!! Their personalities complement each other perfectly.

If you want to absolutely laugh your ass off talking basketball, "The Deep 3" is fantastic.

All Fantasy Everything - Comedians drafting random shit. If you want a fun stretch of episodes to check it out try scrolling back to Jan/Feb 2017 for Garbage Food, Casual Dining Restaurants and Taco Bell.

I really like SRSLY Wrongy. It's a utopian improv-comedy podcast where I actually leared a lot.

Not sure if it's still about but I used to listen to Doug Loves Movies and it was an absolute blast.
