Honestly I'd prefer a more narrow story rather than a galaxy spanning doomsday threat, just put me in that universe again and let me explore.
That being said I try and avoid speculation and I'm not gonna say it's bad if it doesn't match what I would like.
Do we know if it's supposed to be more open world like Andromeda or back to a linear style?

So I'll give this one: To save on dev resources, the new Mass Effect will operate like a Five Nights at Freddy's game, and our protagonist week be a pizza delivery person.

About the new game - call me a pessimist. I'm in love with the trilogy since it was only ME1 back in my late youth. After BioWare kind of died, we had Andromeda. Which was a fun game, of course, but never even remotely cought my interest compared to the trilogy.
I hope a new game will do a better job of inspiring me.
I guess I'll see it when I play it.

in fact i find myself slightly ashamed that i have been in the mass effect fandom, a not insignificant part of that shame being due to the horny stuff that just seems inescapable.
