If I'm not mistaken, he was born in 1951 and, as his Flickr profile says:
The bulk of this work was done between 1976 and 1997
So it makes sense his style is so 80-ish.
So... two upward thrusters on the back, only one upward thruster on the front, and the load waaay up front on some grabbers?... That's going into a nosedive; suspension of disbelief broken (at least for me).
