This happened exactly one time in the 200 hours I've played. Not that I use Dazzlefruit all that often. Maybe this is super common, but I haven't heard anyone else mention it. I think it's a cute little Easter egg they added, like how skydiving at night sometimes makes Star Fragments appear right behind you.

I love a dazzle fruit on a korok spear to insta kill all stal monsters in the area!

Is this any different than throwing the dazzlefruit, or just a stylistic choice?

It does the same thing, except the fruit becomes multi-use when fused to a Korok Spear.

Korok weapons have the reuse fused item ability, so after a brief recharge the dazzle fruit is god to use again!

Interesting. Does this imply that the Yiga are following us around, remaining hidden until something like this reveals them? I've massively underutilised the dazzlefruit myself, pretty much only use them to dispell skeletal enemies.

I'm guessing that's what Nintendo wants us to think, but I bet he wasn't actually "there" until I threw the fruit. But who knows. Maybe just before a Yiga member appears in that flash of light, he's actually there and invisible. But I always thought they teleported in, and weren't already standing there invisible just before they appear.

I posted this in hopes other people share their experiences with this happening. Like, when I first caught a star fragment in mid air, I thought I got super, super lucky, until it happened again, and then 4 more times. 😄

I recently learned that a Dazzlefruit will stun a Frox. That make them really useful. Originally, I only used them to slow down the annoying Lizalfos.

I think you're exactly right, but what a fun illusion. Now I gotta start tossing them at normal enemies more to see this, I only ever use one on a korok spear for stal-blins

I've seen a few people extol the virtues of dazzlefruit... whenever I've tried to use them, it's had no effect... but that's prob because I'm trying to use them on things like lynels! The lynel just looked at me like "Really" before twatting me into oblivion
