still running tubes and rim brakes here, I find maintenance easier, and I don't get that many flats anyway (though I did get a massive pinch flat hitting a rock at about 27 mph...don't know if tubeless would've saved me or just had a sidewall blowout and been unsalvageable)

Speaking from experience, tubeless would not have saved you.

yeah, and not sure a plug would've fixed it
If I still have to carry a tube, tire boot, plugs, etc, I just don't see the advantage

edit: I still run rim brakes and mechanical shifting, so I might be a luddite
