At least you had that good run right??? I’m sorry it came back with a vengeance. Make sure you try to take it easy. If you don’t mind me asking, what painkillers are you taking?

I’m very light hearted about it. I laughed when I figured it out, but definitely resting and listening to my body now. I was on tramadol for really bad days and basic ibuprofen for less painful days.
I gotcha, how does the tramadol work? Right now im taking 300mg daily. Im not diagnosed with fibro looking like polymyositis but we are not sure. Just finally found evidence something is wrong yesterday after 8 months lol
Took forever for me to get a diagnosis for my chronic pain, bunch of doctors thought I was either depressed or was seeking pain medication. Once you get the diagnosis though it gets somewhat easier. For me the tramadol is fine it keeps my more painful flare ups at bay and the lingering pain doesn’t leave me stiff if I’m staying in the same position. What I do keep on me all the time though is a snack. Sometimes I feel like I won’t need the meds so I’ll go about my day without them and might take them later in the day. At that point I need to eat something before the tramadol. One time I didn’t care about it because of my pain and ended up throwing up maybe 15-20 minutes later.
My pain management doc wanted to try one last thing with tramadol before going stronger (that’ll be July 10) so she did 100mg extended release and 200mg ir. The first few days at the same exact time at like 5-6pm I would get so dizzy and sick. When I first started tramadol with just ir I got so nauseas. Luckily now it’s like my body is used to it so I can mostly take it with an empty stomach. I bought ginger root pills and that works tremendously with opiate nausea and dizzyness. Would highly recommend. I take one in the morning and it usually gets me through the day. If not I’ll take another
