Not surprised at all. Only a matter of time. If the moderators keep protesting en mass, then the Reddit admins have no hope of keeping the site from devolving into chaos. Let's see if the moderators can hold or if they capitulate.

Welp, it’s been a good run. I’m still using Reddit, but neither posting, commenting, nor voting. And since I’m a bit of a masochist, I’m gradually going through my comment history and editing the content out of them, then going back and deleting the edited comments a day or two later. It’s a nice little nostalgia trip, and hopefully I’ll be finished by June 30.
It gets worse. Awkwardtheturtle had their account suspended as of earlier today for participating in the protest.
That's right. One of Reddit's most prolific and tyrannical power mods, and somebody who frequently goes on Spez-tier power trips, has been banned from the site.
Huffman is playing a dangerous game. He's actually pissing off the voluntary caretakers that gave him countless hours of free unpaid labour.
This guy really does want to destroy his whole site huh? What bothers me is I spent years finding communities commenting and becoming part of that site for this guy to completely destroy it.
The verge's comment section on that article is a gold mine.
Getting ready to delete my account...
