Polling shows they have pretty much no hope of getting the nomination from Donald, so they are running for Veep. I really do expect the "debate" to be a circus of who can out Donald the Donald and prove their worthiness to be on the ticket with him.

Guaranteed, Trump has dirt on every single GOP member who has flipped from 2016 outrage to 2024 bootlicking. I kinda want to see whatever his 'dead man's switch' exposes for the whole party.

Probably because they see it as a weaponization of the justice department. Several of the indictments are using novel legal theories, and the timing coincides with Trump's reelection campaign.
