Really sad for how it ended with Tierney if this is true. I remember in his season with Emery he was at times a slight liability, but then he walked in with a Tesco bag and couldn't do anything wrong after that.
He was never getting a statue outside the Emirates, but he never seemed to give up even in the depths of the Unai era.
At one stage he was in the running to be our next captain
