I am stuck in "Subscribe Pending" status when tryin to sub a community in another instance. I read this is something acknowledge by the developers, so probably for your issue is the same: we need to wait.

I am currently pending subscription to this magazine from Lemmy.world. Doesn't matter though, since I found this post in my feed anyway

lemmy.world has been giving me issues all day, it is acting like they defederated but I'm wondering if there is some kind of technical hiccup that can act like a defederation and never goes back and gets the missing posts and comments. I really hope it can be fixed because this is a huge problem, and worsening as more servers fail to show up in search results and are having strange behavior. If it keeps going like this everyone is going to be stuck on whatever the biggest platform becomes and we're back to square one.
Well I tried it today and it worked, so it appears to be just a temporary issue.
Growing pains and all with the influx of people I guess.
Can you post the error as well as your client if you're on a phone?
