Posts to videos on Imgur just show up as weird sweaty soccer balls in the app, rather than showing a preview of the video itself.

For example.

Initial support for videos will come in the near future (hopefully)! Support for Imgur will be a bit more tricky as we have to double check their API usage terms and how to handle that effectively (if possible)

Thanks for the info. Hopefully you can get this working at some point like the other apps but I understand it's a bunch of work too.

Okay got it. Was not showing on mobile.

If you're using Thunder then yeah, it doesn't show properly which is why I'm making this post. In a browser on a PC it shows up and in other apps, so I'm not sure if it's a Thunder or Lemmy mobile browser thing.

I understood your issue, which is why I tested on my mobile browser. Video does not show. On desktop, it does.
