Always good to try new stuff. Just like sticking to a strict drug regimen - keeps my mind limber.

@swade2569 #Kbin was my first choice and I’m really happy with it despite the server being overloaded and the bugs. I tried #Mastodon but it felt too much like twitter for me. I didn’t even consider #Lemmy because I’m not a fan of the devs.

@NumbersCanBeFun Thanks man, that's really interesting. I am not too aware of the devs anywhere - like a child walking into the middle of everything. LOL

I'm sure I'll stay on #mastodon myself; I dig the news agencies I've gotten connected to like #NPR and #ProPublica.

Hoping to move to a more federated existence online - on my list of things to try is #owncast for my twitch replacement and vids at #tilvids or some #peertube instance.
