No worries, I had the same question when I first got mine as well
I typically fall asleep to podcasts after starting them and putting the phone face-down on the bed near my head. A couple of nights ago the audio seemed noticeably quieter and muffled when I set it down. I knew the upper, front-firing speaker would be covered, so logically one of the two bottom-firing must be out... #wrongo
