Conjuration is anything planar, right? So I'm guessing the logic is conjuring healing magic from the positive energy plane.
Makes sense, esp. that it hurts the undead. Does not make much sense with evocation or necromancy.
Isn't magical manipulation of life force textbook necromancy? Evocation I've got no idea though.
Evocation (IRL at least) involves calling upon the powers of or summoning a spirit or deity, so it's like praying (that actually works).
I think someone may have confused the words and swapped them since the definition of evocation is summoning and for conjuration is generic magical stuff.
Positive energy plane? I'm pretty sure it's conjuring from the quasi-elemental plane of blood and flesh.
Where do you think all the blood comes from?
