Many games need to be played at 16:9 as ultrawide goes beyond your peripheral vision. You likely will need to react to new information appearing at the sides, which you won't notice on ultrawide settings.

Don't have much experience with Ultrawide, but I do know some games don't properly support Ultrawide. This might not be an issue though.
Yeah, mostly just want the ultrawide for work. Don’t game super frequently, but don’t want it to be a blurry mess when I do
