Started super small amount 25mg of lamictal/ lamotragine and it’s giving me persistent headaches. Same as the last time i was prescribed it 6 years ago and quit it after only a couple weeks.

Hmmm. Curious if it gave you problems before why trying again? If you don’t mind sharing. I take it too and discovered too much makes me manic. Now I’m scared to take it. :(

It gave me the same headaches before and the psych said to keep going and i just couldn’t work with the headaches so i stopped. Now 6 years later trying to get some help and new doc says try again and i think im just back to the same spot.

It was constant headache felt like swelling so switched to Oxcarbazepine / Trileptal and that seems to not have any side effects so far

Interesting! Another anti-epileptic that is a Benzo. 🧐. I’m having a shitty day today… it just sounds magical. 🤣

I don’t know much about the meds yet but yes anti epileptic. Wondering what your thought are on that?

I also take Lamictal which is an anti epileptic. They started me on it for TD. This is the second one I've come across for bipolar. I think it's interesting that it also works for it. Never knew there was one that is also a benzo. Does that help you sleep too?
