This hardware is so outdated and shitty these days. They needed to release a new model many years ago.

Hardware is better than almost anything in a TV
Given they do software updates constantly, I would say no. Each one inserts more bs into the home screen / trash features x five. A whole new shield sounds scary…
Please just install a new launcher. I don't know why anyone puts up with homescreen ads on Android TV devices. I use Projectivy, but there are a ton of options out there
Maybe we'll get one soon now that they're making a bunch of SoC's for the Nintendo switch 2?
Yeah, thats my hope/expectation. We are gonna see a new nvidia shield with the soc that is being used on switch 2.

I agree, but it still has the best remote / experience on the market (afaik)
