I don't really follow the Greek Superleague, is it a significant rivalry?

No. The main rival of Panathinaikos is Olympiakos. The significance is really me promoting my new Panathinaikos community by sharing to the football/soccer communities here, and that Panathinaikos is making a comeback after a dismal start to this season and is in contention for the title.
