Fun fact: so long as the first and last letters of each word are correct, most people can read a sentence just fine. It’s a good example of how extremely good our brains are at pattern recognition.

Aocernig to rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the Itteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt ting is taht the frist and Isat Itteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sill raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is buseae the huamn mid deos not raed ervey Iteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

Has it? I’d love a link.

Were you able to read my quote at nearly unjumbled speed? Because I think most of us can, which is proof it’s valid.

I'd hardly call that debunked.

The meme version is overly simplified and that's about all.

my expert decoding skills tell me the message is "what are you doing toblerone"

[–] bleph 5 points 1 year ago

I am a black belt in decoding and I can tell you for sure it reads "whither is your dong tonic"

If you don't understand obviously you don't dong hard enough.

Who even cares about aputocorrect?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

What pisses me off is when it's a very obvious typo and the other person responds "what?" Like idk dumbass use your fuckin brain

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I disabled autocorrect

[–] Braysl 1 points 1 year ago

This is how my mom texts, and it's always a fun game trying to figure out what she's trying to say
