Congrats to all the holo winners (and Dokibird!)

Popularity is definitely a huge factor in those awards but I’m glad holo talents doesn’t just win every award they’re nominated for (or in general sometimes lesser subscribed talents beat others with a bigger following).

Great that HoloGTA is getting the praise it deserves, it was awesome and hopefully they have the time and resources to do more events like that.

(Also it was predictable, but I love how Doki got 2 awards while the entire Niji roster didn’t win a single one lmao)

Feels a bit weird for the public to be voting on the best org (especially after "The reason for my graduation is disagreement with management" 😅), but I guess there isn't much of an alternative lol

I mean, at this point we had plenty of talents come out and say they still love being in Hololive, I’m leaning towards the issue being a blunder/miscommunication that definitely needs to be addressed but nothing explicitly malicious.

Compared to the disaster that is Nijisanji and VShojo who, while not malicious either, definitely had bigger hiccups in the past, I feel like they’re still much more deserving of the award (though I admit I haven’t been following Phase enough to have a proper opinion and I have never heard of Isegye Idol).

I think the issue is a tale as old as time: contract was coming to a close, management and Fauna disagreed on new terms.

I doubt it’s something like that honestly. When you have your dream job I don’t think you’d get off because of new contract terms (unless they’re really different, in which case we would see a lot of simultaneous graduations).

My headcanon/rrat is that she was getting annoyed with perms/restrictions and/or that the times where she had to go to Japan were becoming far too many. Bureaucracy and frequent travels have been cited by many talents (current and former), and considering Fauna is both a very creative mind and a pet owner who lives in the US, I can see how those things could become sources of piling stress overtime.

It's just that we, as viewers, have very little idea about how "good" an org actually is, just a vague idea of whether talents are generally happy or not and whether we as viewers are happy or not. I guess if the descriptor were instead "viewer's favorite org" that would better align with reality but it's not as catchy :P

That’s for sure, “Best” always comes across as something objective when it’s not, most of those awards (and other awards in general) should say “viewer/jury’s favorite” instead of “best”, but catchiness is important I guess.
