If you think for a second those squeaks aren't a drug to dogs then you've never met my dogs

Those squeaks are a VERY accurate depiction of the sound many small animals would make as your dog “plays” with them.

The squeak is to replicate the death squeals of prey, which is quite a different vibe

I'll never forget the time my dog caught a live bird 🫠

I didn't realize this until I saw a video of two wolf cubs playing with a live field mouse. Was exactly like a dog with a squeak toy.

We had a baby squirrel in a tree in our backyard that made the exact sounds that our dog's squeaky toy made.

Unexpected.

Is it weird for my cat to not like catnip? She totally avoids it.

Many cats that aren’t affected by catnip are affected by silver vine in a similar way. Possible your cat is affected by catnip and doesn’t like it though.

Mine is the same. Doesn't care for catnip but goes bonkers for silver vine (particularly the fried fruits) and valerian.

Check for X's on the back of her paws, she might be straight-edge.

Not all cats are affected by it
