Your grandma, but like, hip.

Cottagecore is an internet aesthetic popularised by adolescents and young adults celebrating an idealized rural life. Originally based on a rural English and European life, it was developed throughout the 2010s and was first named cottagecore on Tumblr in 2018.

Bonsai cultivation is quite fun. Join your local society!

That sounds wonderful! Do you do so yourself? I hear it's quite meditative as a hobby.

My main problem is if you only have one there is only SO much fiddling you can do with it without harming it... It takes time to recover from injuries, repotting, etc. So then you end up with several!

My plans for the weekend include

  2. moderating a live stream from a living museum
  3. embroidery

Is Cottagecore a good place to post content on foraging, herbalism, cooking and gardening? Or is this outside the scope? Thanks!

Yes, absolutely! That is all under the cottagecore umbrella and we'd love to see what you post! Thank you!

Some summer cottagecore activities: Pack a picnic

Pick berries at a local farm

Bake something with those berries!

Ride your bike

Start a garden

Hike nearby forests

Learn what plants in your area are forageable. (Don't eat anything without being sure it's safe! Look up foraging classes in your area.)
