How would you describe the post-watch period where you are thinking about the show? "Aftertaste" got the meaning across, so π€·ββοΈ
I suppose what I felt is that many of the shows felt futuristic, like they could happen but we aren't there yet, with a sci-fi vibe mixed in. This season felt like it could be right now, so hit harder I guess
Oh i wasn't questioning the word "aftertaste", I was questioning the word "enjoyable". To me the best black mirror episodes are always slightly disturbing.
How did you feel about the pilot? The one with the prime minister and the pig (trying not to give away too much here, dunno how spoilers work)?
Ah gotcha. That is enjoyable to me - like "Wow, that was crazy/interesting. I wonder where else they could go with this concept." Usually it's the tech enabled crazy dystopia thing that gets me, so the Loch Henry ep just felt like any old show.
Pilot was okay. Was intriguing at the time, but if I watched again I'd find it boring
Well to be fair the hang the DJ episode was really wholesome lol
Oh wait nvm I'm thinking of the wrong episode. Yeah I guess that was one of the few with a kinda happy ending. Same as San Junipero. But I still think the general vibe is more dystopia and thought provoking in general.
Uh... Really? Didn't we find out a dark secret at the end?
Thereβs a more human and less technology element to this series. Loch Henry wasnβt about tech at all
well it was somewhat, turning people's lives into a commodity for streaming, mining our social contacts for personal gain
No I agree, S6 had a completely different vibe than any previous season.
