So, one of the most restricting things I find is the rate of how much scrap you get for playing vs. how much you need to upgrade weapons, mutators, etc. With all that money spent I don't even have enough left to experiment with different weapons or buy consumables.

How are you handling it, are you also struggling or have here been some strats for getting a couple bucks real quick? :)

The best thing I've found so far is just to run adventures. Once you get a few levels into the archs and start getting a build going you don't need to upgrade as much allowing you to start saving more. I was able to come out of one up 5000 from when I went in. Ofc results may vary depending on where you are and it may take a surprising amount of time if your build is lacking. I personally have not found any trinkets that increase the amount of scrap you collect but there were a few of those in R1 so it might be worth it to look out for those as well. Another thing: don't worry about collecting things you already own. Often times when you pick up a ring or something which you already have, it gets converted into scrap.

Thanks for the tip!

I started an adventure in the spooky woods (first world) and, like, immediately found an amulet that gives 50% increased scrap and auto loots materials. Running through the whole world net me about 8000 scrap. So, I guess that's worth it for now :)

That'll probably be the way to do it for a while. Tragic just made a post on Reddit about making tweaks and changes to stuff, like scrap and material rewards, so we'll see what happens

I like to just join other peoples' games via Quick Play: the benefit of doing so is that you're usually directly thrown into a combat situation and get to pretty quickly move through the game.

Jumping from player to player, usually leaving after a boss, is my preferred way to grind before moving on with the campaign (especially if I've just found a new gun and it's not worth using until I've upgraded it).

I've definitely been helped by people joining before and leaving after a how. Thank you for your service and I'm happy to hear that it helps grinding scrap/materials :D

If you're not aware, you can find the scavengers bauble, amulet boosts scrap gather rate. Pretty sure its like 25 or 50%

That's actually the amulet I talked about in another comment. Really handy, tough I have to say that it basically stripped my amulet slot from me. Haven't really used any other one because I'm otherwise broke
