I just got an offer email today to upgrade to Macrium Reflect X from Macrium Reflect 8. I see they are moving from a 1-time purchase license model to an annual subscription.

Is there an alternative to macrium I should be using instead for my windows backups? Should I upgrade to macrium x instead of using macrium reflect 8?

To get ahead of the Linux stans: I love linux, but my work requires that I use a windows computer and I would like to make backups of this computer just in case.
