Hi! This app is incredible and so far is my go to Lemmy app. I just wanted to point out that posts don't always show up as read when I view the post and go back to the feed. Sometimes they are dimmed, and other times they appear as unread. The behavior seems inconsistent so I can't give exact reproducible steps.

Also, am I missing where the ability to create posts exists or is that not available yet?

Thanks for the heads up!

My guess is that the request to mark the post read fails. I’m not currently retrying it and just letting it silently die in the background.

I’ll add this to the list to look at when I bulk up the error handling later this week.
