Not sure the details, was going to ask if he was lost as airport is only two miles away. But apparently they needed a doctor on the area fast.

Ooh exciting! This happened when I was in junior school once, helicopter just out of nowhere landed on our field (during lessons so we were all safely indoors).

Bit less dramatic though, it turned out the pilot just wanted to visit his mam and her back garden led out onto our field so it was a handy parking spot.

This one was flying low past the house. So I ran to garden to get a photo as it very low but it never appeared so I went back to the front and could see all the bushes around the corner blowing. And when I looked it was just there with a few doctors jumping out
