Fuck patents. Two of the patents are pretty much used for 15+ years by different companies and are the basis for 3D-printing in general. I hate that is legal to don't give a crap about a patent until you feel someone's threatening your position. I was thinking about buying a Bambu-Labs printer. Probably gotta get it before some stupid court gives the case to Stratasys.

while im not on Stratasys' side, Bambu Labs isn't any saint either. Their 3D printers go on a closed source path so that its fully tight nit and integrated ala Apple and do not give back to the 3D printing community whatsoever. It's just a game of two companies trying to keep shit in for themselves. Bambu Labs is basically the dark horse in a field of open source 3d printers that trying to make things propietary,

Yeah, I get that. That's why patents themselves are shit. Imagine what would the world look like today if volvo didn't donate it's seat belt patent to the world?

My knowledge of the 3D printing market is very limited, but even to me the claimed parents seem obvious and not novel.

Go suck a large one, Stratasys. It's also FFF, Fused Filament Fabrication, not FDM.

It threatens nothing.
