All of these articles are always about multiple choice questions that students take in a test environment without access to phones/laptops. I don’t get how this is an example of why teachers need to change standards. It’s the same as saying “Oh they can find the answers on Google”

This test doesn’t show that the LLM is super smart, or that the test is too easy. It just shows that the answers to the questions exist on the internet. How is that a surprise to anyone?
