I have a Z790 UD AX with 2x16 6000mhz DDR5 trident z and an i5-12600k.

When installing ram into either 2/4 or 1/3 the ez debug lights cycle vga - cpu - and hovers on ram. My bios is up to date and I know all my parts are compatible and work fine other than in this config. I've gone through all the troubleshooting classics.

When in 3/4 everything is fine and XMP works and is stable, but of course not in a proper dual channel config (I've been using this config the last few weeks until I can fix this.)

I've seen other people with similar problems end up RMA'ing their boards but with no follow-up as to if that worked.

Are there any known fixes for this or are we waiting for a new bios, or do I just need to RMA my board and my issue is unique? Thanks y'all!
