The section through Collegiate West was going just fine until a storm rolled in near Lake Ann Pass.

I feel the need to reply, just because this is the first real backpacking post on Lemmy I've seen that's not a repost. I will watch this video with joy.

Confronting our fears is at the heart of ultralight, this video has stuck with me due to the excellent and honest job Dan does of conveying his fear and then overcoming it. I myself am afraid of walking in snow; I fear that having to do it for prolonged periods would wear me down, and make me want to quit. What are you afraid of?
