Here's my current Daily, a 2016 Audi A3 I got a couple of years ago.

List of upgrades: • Unitronic Stage 1+ ECU/TCU tunes • RS7 spark plugs • ultraracing front and rear strut bars • carlinkit Android auto/carplay • interior LED bulbs • wheel spacers (10mm front, 15mm rear) • tinted dynamic led mirror turn signals • silver mirror caps • tow hook license plate mount • ECS tuning carbon fiber rear lip • 35% window tint • Michelin sport AS4 tires • 034Motorsports full dog bone mount kit (upper/lower inserts + arm upgrade) • used OBDEleven for reprogramming

I've done oil changes, DSG & Haldex fluid flushes, replaced the battery and the windshield and the front-passenger window, added the Audi A3 rubber mats, and replaced the cabin air filter. Also when I bought it they replaced the water pump.

Wait, you added Android Auto? It works with MMI?

Yup! This was what I got. It was super easy to install and works great.

Thanks! I had no idea that was out there. The only mod I've done on my Q5 is to greatly exceed the weight rating of the roof rack but I've used Auto on some other cars and I really like it.

Your car looks great!

The carlinkit kit just tacs onto the OEM MMI box. I had to remove the glovebox to hook it up. I left it tucked behind the glovebox and ran the USB port cable behind it sticking out slightly behind my cupholders. I'll add some mounting tape or smth to the carlinkit module eventually. To switch from Audi MMI to the carlinkit OS you just hold one of the switches to go into an aux/bypass mode, and then select Android auto. Even though the factory screen is only 5.8" it's still a great experience using it with the car controls, especially since interacting with your phone while driving is illegal in my state.
