MODERATORS
Going to a game night with just Clue and Monopoly might be a crime in some places. Clues a fine game but paired with Monopoly it just gives boomer vibes.
Australia is a trap. Only noobs and fools go for Australia.
Either of the americas are the best option to gun for early game.
Numberphile has a video breaking down the statistics and probability of RISK. Australia is indeed the worst continent to go for. The amount of troops it generates is relatively low compared to the other continents and it has only one way to attack. RISK rules favour attackers, so aggressively expanding in multiple directions is the best strategy!
Risk is just a 30 minute fight for Australia and then 6 hours of waiting for the winner of that fight to win the game.
