Not sure if I’ve got the right expectations here, but for me, changing the sort ordering on All or in a community seems to have no effect. I also just turned off ‘Hide Read Posts’ and yet refreshing the feed still hides those I’ve read.

Sometimes quitting and restarting does seem to change the sort order, but I’ve also seen it come back still showing the previous ordering.

Are there known problems with sorting / hiding, or is this news?

This is definitely news, I’ve never encountered any of these issues, nor have I had any reports about anything similar to this. It almost sounds like Arctics preferences are not saving properly, or otherwise becoming out of sync.

Is this something that just started happening, or has this been happening for a while?

Ok, so I think the sorting is actually fine, but it’s confusing because turning off hide read doesn’t appear to show read posts again.

Normally I want to hide read in All, but then sometimes looking for something I went to a specific community (I had Hide read in community turned off) and noticed that they kept disappearing as I scrolled up and down, refreshed the feed and changed the sort order. I think that’s what made me think it was the sorting that wasn’t working.

My assumption was that Hide read only applied to the main feed, and that in search finding a specific community would show read posts. Maybe not?
